I come to your home, studio, rehearsal space, or office — anywhere in the GTA. The $200 Service Call covers travel to your location and the first hour of hands-on technician work.

Covers travel to your location and the first hour of hands-on service, anywhere in Toronto, North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, and Richmond Hill. After the first hour, billed at $125/hr in 15-minute increments ($31.25 per 15 min). Locations further out are quoted individually.

Your first hour is hands-on technician time — setup, adjustments, diagnostics, or whatever your guitar needs most.

Community & Education Rate

For schools, churches, and community music programs:

Covers travel and the first hour of hands-on service. After the first hour, billed at $100/hr in 15-minute increments ($25 per 15 min).

Every guitar is different. Here's a general idea of what a setup looks like, but there are no guarantees on exact timing — I'll do my best to give you an estimate upon inspection.

After the first hour, additional time is billed at $125/hr in 15-minute increments ($31.25 per 15 min). Strings start at $15, or you're welcome to supply your own.

On-Site vs. Rabbit Hole (Shop Work)

Prefer to Drop Off?

You can also drop off your instrument at The Rabbit Hole — Shop & Studio in Toronto, Ontario. Drop-off work is billed at Rabbit Hole shop rates (see below). If your guitar needs work beyond what can be done on-site during a Service Call, I'll bring it back to the shop. Once complete, pick it up at an arranged time or I'll deliver it back to you for a $75 delivery fee (North York, Toronto, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Richmond Hill — longer distances quoted individually).

Every setup includes a thorough, step-by-step process to ensure your instrument plays and sounds its best.

Restring (strings not included in base price)
Tighten and lubricate all hardware
Clean and condition fingerboard
Cleaning of entire guitar
Adjust truss rod to correct neck relief
Adjust saddle radius to match fingerboard
Adjust action at bridge
File nut slots for proper string movement
Adjust intonation
Adjust tremolo bridge to player's preference (parts not included)
Clean and test electronics
Replace battery if needed (battery not included)
Adjust or rehang loose wiring
Adjust pickup balance
Full inspection and play test
Lightly polish frets to remove minor scratches and corrosion
