I’m Tyler — a classically trained guitarist, lifelong tinkerer, and the person behind MrGuitar. For over 25 years, I’ve been playing, studying, tinkering with and working on guitars. What started as a personal obsession eventually became MrGuitar — a way to put that experience to work for other guitarists.
Before MrGuitar, I was a locksmith—trained to notice what most people never see, and to fix what most people can’t. That attention to fit, friction, and function is the same thing your guitar needs to stay in tune, play clean, and feel right in your hands.
I believe music makes life better. Everyone should play guitar — and every guitar should be a joy to play. Helping people get more from their guitars is why I do this work.
